One thing I do when public speaking is pause, close my mouth breath through my nose, then talk. It feels weird, but it presents well to others.

I know this video is three years old but it’s incredibly helpful and reassures a lot of thoughts I had on this. I’ve been shooting my first UA-cam video the last couple weeks and it’s been so awkward. I am even someone who came from an acting background in college and thought that I would be able to do it easily. I then realized it’s complete different than acting because when acting, you’re typically directing you words towards someone and reacting to their reactions. A camera feels like I’m talking to a wall.
